AI-assisted development means more code, more pull requests, and more CI runs. That extra volume puts pressure on problems teams have tolerated for years: cache inputs that are too broad or too narrow, runners that are only partly used, memory-heavy tasks that destabilize jobs, and distributed execution that still leaves machines waiting. In this talk, we'll look at why adding more CI capacity is an expensive workaround, not a fix.
